Mandy

​In a heartbreaking turn of events, Mandy, a sweet and playful dog, was abandoned by her owner in the middle of the road. Caught on camera, the footage showed her desperately chasing after the car that had just left her behind, her tail wagging in confusion and fear. 

Fortunately, the incident was recorded, and the car's license plate number led to the owner. When confronted, the owner claimed that Mandy's behavior—playing with some chickens—was the reason for her abandonment. It’s a sad reminder of how some pets are treated as disposable when they don’t meet their owners' expectations.

Thanks to the close relationship with the local animal police, our foster was asked to step in and help Mandy. The authorities knew that returning her to her owner was not an option; she was not microchipped and had not been sterilized, leaving her vulnerable and at risk.

Mandy deserves a loving home where she can thrive, free from the fear of being discarded. With a little love and care, we are determined to help her find a forever family who will cherish her for the joyful spirit she is.

Mandy is like glue. She is completely attached to her humans and loves affection.
Despite her age she is still very active would suit an active home with a garden.
