Lion

One of the saddest rescues for 2025.

Lion as we named him lived in the slums of the village Vadu Rosca in Vrancea, Romania for about 2 years, in unbelievable conditions, apparently invisible to everyone . They asked for help and rescuer Andreea took him over.

Urgently lion was taken to the veterinarian, it was found that he had a fracture in his front paw for a long time and that unfortunately due to lack of quick intervention, it had already entered gangrene.

Lion was rotting more and more every day under the careless eyes of the inhabitants of the village of Vadu Rosca without anyone taking any action for 2 years.

For Lion the only chance of survival was the amputation of his front leg.

Lion, today is in private foster in Romania, he is a gentle but understandably He's still a little shy and looks at us as if he doesn't know what to do.

We have the feeling that this dear boy has not received a gesture of love from humans for a very long time or maybe never, but, he does accept our love with eyes still in a little disbelief.

He socialises well with the other dogs in the foster and is friendly with the cats.

Now we are looking for a family that will enjoy giving them the most beautiful life possible.

Experience with shy and neglected dogs is absolutely essential to adopt lion.

He has been failed horrifically by humans and should never be failed again.
